1/4 cup almonds
1/2 cup peanuts, roasted and salted
3/4 cup dates
1 1/2 tbsp cacao powder
1/2 tbsp rice malt syrup (add another 1/2 tbsp if your dates aren't super juicy).
- Process the nuts ins food processor. Add the remaining ingredients.
- Once the mixture comes together transfer it to a lined pan or container.
1/2 cup rice malt syrup
3/4 cup peanut butter
2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
Mix the rice malt syrup, peanut butter and coconut oil together until combined. Transfer to the tin and use damp hands to press/smooth it out. Place in the freezer to chill while you make the chocolate.
Chocolate (or you can use store bought dairy free chocolate instead)
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1/4 cup cacao powder
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 tsp peanut butter
- Mix until combined, then spread the chocolate over the slice.
- Return to the freezer to set for neater slicing. Keep this slice cool or frozen, and defrost for a few moments before enjoying.
